We center your voice, your values, and your boundaries. Stress, trauma, and oppressive systems can leave us feeling overwhelmed and powerless. Truly trauma-informed care is the opposite; it's steady, safe, deeply caring, and led by you.
We believe that you deserve care and services that benefit from an intentional application of psychological science. We understand that our field has left out many voices and perspectives in the past. To stand against this, we take more conscious approach to how we apply science in our work and offerings.
Your experiences don't happen in a vacuum. We call out systems of patriarchy, capitalism, white supremacy and ableism that impact our lives and stories. Together we will name them, notice their impact, and help you uncover what your story can look like if it reflected you living in fulfillment, joy, rest, and community. We will walk alongside you, advocate for your rights, donate to causes that support our communities, and hold on to our sincere belief that helping people heal helps the world heal.
We created the space we have wanted to see in so many ways at different points in our own growth and healing. We hope that means you will feel the ways you don't have to shrink, mask, or code-switch here. We want you to be able to know and trust that every part of you is welcome. To exhale, and enjoy the healing that comes from being seen and cared for in your full, unapologetic humanity.
We are always learning, unlearning, and deepening our commitment to being inclusive, anti-racist, decolonizing, and aware of the power dynamics around us and within us. This is a queer-, BIPOC-, AuDHD-, and woman-led practice. We refuse to pathologize being human. We honor your identities, embrace HAES, body and sex positivity, reproductive justice, and culturally humble care. And we're upfront about our values and our unshakeable belief that every single person is inherently worthy.
