Hi, I'm Dr. Jackie Layton!

Working with me means stepping into a space where your voice, your story, and your values take center stage. I’m here as your guide, cheerleader, and co-strategist—not to “fix” you, but to help you uncover the version of yourself that’s been buried under everyone else’s expectations.

We will sit with big emotions together, rewrite old narratives that have been holding you back, and do so with a warmth, courage and humor. This is your journey, and my goal is to make sure you feel empowered and supported every step of the way.

A little about me (and why I do this work)
I’m a mom, trauma survivor, feminist, and business owner and I’m navigating systems that weren’t built for me while I try to stay true to my values – which may sound familiar to you as well.

My path to this work has been shaped by personal and professional experiences—years of overachievement as a survival strategy, facing down burnout, and finally realizing that the only way out was to create something better for myself and others. That’s why I founded Mockingbird Therapy: a space for people ready to reclaim their power, rewrite their stories, and find freedom in their lives and work. I know what it’s like to feel trapped by the world’s expectations, and I’m here to help you break free.

If you’re ready, I’m here.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or transformation, I’d love to help you take that next step. You can also schedule a to see if we’re a good fit.

Let’s create something beautiful - and uniquely yours - together.
